Both are transported to a local medical office in an ambulance. Police report that one of the men was injured while the other appeared to be injured.
– The rescue helicopter flies in the area to plot this against if others have also been taken. Preliminary intelligence at the site believes this is unlikely, police say.

– Police are reminded that there is still a danger of landslides in the high mountains and ask everyone to take the necessary precautions, reports the operations center in the southeast police district.

The police were notified of the landslide at 12.33.

Trond Egil Groth, operations manager in the Southeast Police District, tells NRK that rescuers notified them that the accident could be seen from Highway 52.
– The caller stated that he and the partner were removed from the landslide and injured. They told us where they were and that they were probably just the two of us in the avalanche, Groth says.
