– We have been notified that a tree has fallen on a person in Frognerbekkdalen, which is part of the Frognerparken between Drammensveien and Halvdan Svartes gate. We still don’t know more about the state of the tree, writes Birkeland Tangen in an email to VG.
In the parks managed by the Urban Environment Agency, the health status of the trees is checked, where the purpose is to reduce the risk, both in the parks and in the urban space otherwise.

Operations manager Tor Gulbrandsen in the Oslo police district says three capsized on a road at Jansløkka in Asker around 3pm on Wednesday.
– A tree fell across the road blocking traffic and cutting a phone line. The road was cleared and the municipality was notified about the phone line, and bike lanes and trails must also be cleared, he says.
