– A little after four o’clock last night, the police were notified of a possible stabbing at a private address in Kløfta. The first police unit at the scene found two men in their 40s with cuts and stab wounds, says Operations Manager Ronny Samuelsen in the Eastern Police District.
The two men were treated by medical personnel and taken to Ullevål hospital. They must not suffer life-threatening injuries.
They have foreign citizenship and the police should not know them before.
– So far, most indications are that only these two have been involved in the incident and that therefore we have control over everyone involved, says Samuelsen.
It is not yet clear what happened and the police will investigate the case further during the day. Both men have the status of defendants and detainees.
The eastern police district reported the episode on Twitter at 06.36 on Sunday morning.
