Two people have been found dead after the landslide in Gjerdrum, police report in a press release.
Thus, only one person is missing and is presumed dead after the landslide in Ask, which lasted the night of December 30. A total of ten people are believed to have died.
The discovery was made between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm in the avalanche pit.
The police will issue a press release at 7.30 pm.

Family members informed of the discovery
– The dead were found in the search area that has been registered in recent weeks. The findings were made based on the markings of the police dogs, the police write in the press release.
Police have spent time during the afternoon releasing the dead from the scene.
At the moment, the police will not say anything about the identity of the last one found.
Relatives of the missing have been informed of the discovery, police say.
The three who remain missing are Rasa Lasinskiene (49), Ann-Mari Olsen-Næristorp (50) and her daughter Victoria Emilie Næristorp-Sørengen (13).

More than a month has passed since the Gjerdrum landslide took place on the night of December 30. Last Wednesday, some 600 residents were allowed to return to their homes at Ask in Gjerdrum.
Fighting the clock
Although many residents have now been allowed to return to their homes, the search for the three missing has still continued in the landslide.
On Friday, it was announced that the search, which was originally to end on this day, would continue this week.
Police stated that a new evaluation was conducted on Thursday afternoon. They then found it appropriate to expand the search area.
– Among other things, there are several remains of buildings that we want to investigate before the relevant areas are considered scanned. We estimate we will need additional work on this, Police Superintendent Anders Mansaas in the Eastern Police District said in a press release.
