Last week, RBK coach Åge Hareide confirmed to Adresseavisen that he had spoken with Markus Henriksen.
In August, Henriksen himself told Adressa that he would decide after the national team’s hiatus which was in early September.

Now, according to TV 2, he has decided to return to RBK, eight years after he left the club.
Adresseavisen has failed to elicit a comment from RBK sporting manager Micke Dorsin.
Henriksen does not have a club and therefore he will come to the club for free.
It may be the third signing of Hareide
If Henriksen signs for RBK, it will be Hareide’s third signing after he took over as head of RBK on September 1. Since before, left-back Pa Konate and midfielder Holmar Örn Eyjolfsson have signed for the club.
As Adresseavisen knows, several clubs, from several different leagues, have wanted the man from Trøndelag and offered him a contract.
Henriksen’s family lives in Trondheim.
Since Henriksen left Rosenborg in 2012, he has played for AZ Alkmaar, Hull and Bristol City.
