It was “Fugleskremselet” that came out on the second episode of NRK’s Maskorama initiative on Saturday. Behind the mask, the leader of the Center Party, Trygve Slagsvold Vedum, hid.
It was “Fugleskremselet” that came out of “Maskorama” on NRK on Saturday. Trygve Slagsvold Vedum (Sp) took the stage with his rendition of the song “It’s a long way to go” by Klovner i Kamp.
– I have sung with the voice that I have. It’s been a lot of fun, he says. On the show, he reveals that as a child he received little praise for his singing voice.
– There was a reason for that, Vedum laughs on the phone with VG right after he left.
“Maskorama,” which premiered last week, is a singing contest where masked celebrities sing in extravagant costumes. The audience must try to guess who is hiding behind the costumes, before the identity of the exploding participant is revealed.
This week, it was the leader of the Center Party who revealed himself when he had to remove his mask.
– Is it better at daytime work than at night?
– Yes, things have gone better in the parliamentary and local elections than in this poll. I think that’s good.
Persuaded by the daughters
No sour mines were found in Vedum after he had to leave the show.
– It was fun being a part of it, but this was just a fun little project for me. Now there are probably some at home who are a little more upset than I am, he says.
– I usually participate in boring talk shows and stuff; My daughters don’t find it that much fun. So it was my girls who convinced me that I should be a part of this here, he says, and laughs.

“Maskorama” is therefore the first television appearance that his children see from home. Now, the leader of the Center Party says he is eager to follow it up with those on the couch next weekend.
Petter Pilgård and Lars Monsen were also among the suggestions from both the panel and the public about the identity that Fugleskremselet had on the other side of the stage.
A panel made up of Jan Thomas, Marion Ravn and Nicolay Ramm also tries to guess who the celebrities are, interpreting clues from interviews with costumed participants.
“Poodle” in quarantine
One of the contestants, dressed as a pink poodle, had to stand in front of the show on Saturday. The reason is that the anonymous celebrity had been placed in crown quarantine.
The “poodle” spoke the Northern Norwegian dialect and described himself last Saturday as “60 years of a dog.”
– I think we’re going with an old acquaintance from northern Norway. I think it’s Kirsti Sparboe, Nicolay Ramm said.

Jan Thomas thought she couldn’t be the famous pink blogger.

Seersuksess
The first episode of the show was a ratings success for NRK. So far, the episode has an audience of 868,000. 114,000 of them have chosen to watch online, while 754,000 watched the premiere linearly.
Former handball player Susann Goksør Bjerkrheim (50), dressed as a lynx, was the first to smoke.
– It was perfectly fine to smoke. It would probably have been fun to do a few more songs. But I’m happy that I finished the song without it going black, and that I managed to think it was funny, he told VG.
