The presidential election ended with 306 voters for Joe Biden, against 232 for Donald Trump. On December 14, voters came together to formally nominate Joe Biden as the 46th President of the United States.
For the first time, Donald Trump promises that he will leave the White House if voters choose Joe Biden as the winner.
On Thursday night, the president held a video conference with members of the US military, regarding Americans celebrating Thanksgiving.
After the conversation, Trump opened up a round of questions with reporters who had gathered in the Oval Office.
Excited
Trump was once again clear that he does not want to acknowledge electoral defeat.
– It will be very difficult to recognize the electoral defeat, because we know that there was a great electoral fraud, said Trump.
– I don’t know what will happen. One thing I know is that Joe Biden didn’t get 80 million votes, the president added. There is no evidence of these accusations.
One of the questions from the journalists present also touched Trump.
– Don’t talk to me like that, you’re just a lightweight. I am the president of the United States, you never speak to the president that way, Trump said, moving on to the next question.
It is not clear what the journalist said to provoke the ire of the president.

Will leave the white house
Each state has assigned a certain number of voters, based on population. These voters vote for the candidate who won the state they represent and are therefore the ones who formally decide the election.
Trump was asked if he would leave the White House on January 20, if voters vote for Joe Biden.
“Of course I want it, and you know I want it,” replied the president.
The president, however, did not say whether he plans to appear at Joe Biden’s inauguration ceremony on January 20.
– I know what I’m going to do, but I’m not going to say it yet, was Trump’s cryptic response.
To Biden
He added that voters would have made a “mistake” if they declared Joe Biden the winner of the presidential election, which took place 23 days ago.
-I do not think it is correct that he is trying to elect a government now, added the president.
He also urged the American people not to allow Biden to pay tribute to the impending coronary vaccines.
Even though Biden won the election by a good margin and Trump’s many alleged allegations of voter fraud are unsubstantiated, the president also hinted that this will not necessarily be his last Thanksgiving in the White House.
– I think a lot will happen between now and January 20, concluded the president.
