Full coverage in Georgia

Georgia’s interior minister ordered a full recount of the votes in the state’s presidential election. Joe Biden leads with just under 14,000 votes.

About 5 million people have voted in the state, which has 16 voters. An advantage of 14,000 votes corresponds to approximately 0.3 percentage points. If he wins, Biden will be the first Democrat to win the state since Bill Clinton in 1992.

Interior Minister Brad Raffensperger said Wednesday that the process will begin during the week and is expected to run through November 20. Once the results of the recount are approved, the losing candidate can request a new recount per machine.

Trump vant Alaska

President Donald Trump wins Alaska with three voters, CNN reports. Trump was expected to win the traditional Republican Alaska, as he did in 2016.

So he has 217 voters, but challenger Joe Biden has already been named incoming president with 294 voters.

Only Georgia with 16 voters and North Carolina with 15 remain.

In Georgia, it could go against the bill, although Biden’s leadership is large enough that it is unlikely to be overturned, while Trump is expected to take North Carolina.

If it goes as expected, Biden will get 306 voters, while Trump will get 232.
