On Friday, Trump will meet with four Republican politicians from Michigan in hopes of bypassing the state legislature to hold elections in which Joe Biden won by 154,000 votes.
The final results in Georgia were approved the same day by Brad Raffensberger, the state elections official. The bottom line is that Biden received 12,670 more votes than Trump.
“I am convinced that the numbers do not lie,” Raffensberger told a news conference.
Raffersperger, who is a Republican, made clear this morning that a manual recount shows Joe Biden has won all 16 voters in the state.
Raffensperger, who has run the election correctly, has been heavily criticized by other top Republicans for allowing Biden to win Georgia. But he insists the election went well.
The approval is a severe blow to President Donald Trump’s attempt to overturn the election result. He and his people have tried to block the formal approval of major states in hopes of preventing states from appointing voters to support Biden, against the outcome of the election.
Replace voters
After judges in several states have rejected dozens of lawsuits in which the Trump campaign demanded that counting be stopped or votes rejected, the strategy now is to get Republican-led states to designate pro-Trump voters in rather than those that reflect the election results.
That’s why Trump summoned four Republican leaders in both houses of the Michigan State Capitol for a meeting at the White House on Friday.
Michigan has yet to formally pass the election, which Biden won 154,000 more votes than Trump, but Trump and his people have tried to convince judges and elected officials to drop the election and nominate Republican voters.

A Republican congressman, Fred Upton, makes it clear that any attempt to change the outcome of the election is a dead end, and that he has not seen any evidence of voter fraud changing the outcome.
It says that if Trump succeeded in persuading the Republican majority in the state assembly to annul the election, the state’s Democratic governor, Gretchen Whitmer, would veto and stop the attempt.
American suffrage experts consider the Trump campaign’s frenzied attempts to undermine the election futile and say Joe Biden will undoubtedly take over the oval office in January.
Undermine trust
But they are more concerned that the Trump campaign is doing great damage to American confidence in the election.
The Republican senator critical of Trump, Mitt Romney, accuses the president of resorting to “open pressure on state governments to undermine the will of the people and overthrow the elections.”
“It is difficult to imagine a worse and more undemocratic act on the part of a sitting US president,” he said.
Biden continues preparations
Meanwhile, Biden continues to prepare to take over the White House in January, although Trump has yet to open the administration for Biden’s transition team.
On Friday, on his own 78th birthday, Biden hosted House and Senate Democratic leaders Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer for a face-to-face meeting in Wilmington.

The new administration is under pressure to implement a new economic crisis package and a plan to distribute millions of corona vaccines, while Biden is expected to announce some of his ministers in a few days, which must be approved by the Senate.
Disappointed
The approval in Georgia came after all 5 million votes in the state were counted again by hand after Trump’s people demanded it. The tally shows that Biden won more than 12,000 more votes than Trump.
“Like other Republicans, I am disappointed that our candidate did not win the Georgia election,” Raffenberger said in what is seen as a contribution to reassure Trump supporters, according to CNN.
It is the first time since 1992 that a Democrat has won the presidential election in the hitherto very Republican southern state.
New, more liberal generations, immigration from other states to the city of Atlanta and an intense campaign to register voters are the background to the progress of the Democrats in recent years.
Several other states must approve his results by Dec. 1, which will lead to Biden formally winning 306 votes, to Trump’s 232.
