The case is being updated.

Trump is expected to leave the White House by helicopter late Friday night. He will be admitted to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, a White House official said.

Admission is a precautionary measure, says the official.

Trump will continue to work from the presidential ward of the hospital, which is equipped with what is necessary to perform the functions of the office.

– President Trump is in a good mood. He has mild symptoms and has been working all day, says press secretary Kayleigh McEnany.

“As a precaution, and on the recommendation of his doctor and medical experts, the president will work from the presidential office in Walter Reed in the coming days,” he continues.

Earlier Friday, the White House announced that Trump had been injected with what was described as an experimental mixture of antibodies. According to Trump’s doctor, Sean Conley, it is a mixture of zinc, vitamin D, and aspirin. Clinical trials are underway for the treatment, which have not yet been formally approved.

“It is being evaluated by a group of experts and together we will make recommendations to the president and the first lady with a view to taking the best steps forward,” Conley said Friday.

The New York Times writes that Trump has a mild fever and cough, which are reported by two anonymous sources.

Trump announced Friday that he and first lady Melania Trump have tested positive for coronary heart disease.
