From Rosehagen in the White House, President Donald Trump nominated Amy Coney Barrett as a candidate for a new Supreme Court Justice Saturday night.
Barrett is nominated as a successor to Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who died a week ago.
– The flag is still at half mast after Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She was an example to all of us, Barrett said when he gave a Rosehagen speech.
He also highlighted his family in the speech. Barrett is the mother of seven children.
– My children are my greatest joys. I am used to being in a group of nine people, that is, my family, he pointed out.
On Friday, several US outlets, including the New York Times and Fox News, announced that Trump had decided, for Barrett, according to several sources.

Amy Coney Barrett was previously known to have been the president’s favorite.
Amy Coney Barrett was born in New Orleans. She worked as a law professor at Notre-Dame Law School before becoming a judge.
He is said to have been on Trump’s current candidate list since 2017.
Barrett is a practicing Catholic and mother of seven children, two of whom have been adopted from Haiti. She is also said to be opposed to abortion, which is important to many of Trump’s voters.
The president thanked Barrett’s seven children for sharing their mother with the entire United States during Saturday night’s presentation.
By electing Barrett, an already conservative right will carry even more to the right. Because Supreme Court justices sit for life and decide on highly political issues, Trump can help shape American politics for many decades to come.
If Barrett is approved by the Senate, he will give conservatives on the Supreme Court a 6-3 majority.
The appointment of judges to the Supreme Court is considered the most important legacy of a presidency.

If elected, she will be the youngest justice on the Supreme Court.
On Saturday, there are only 38 days left until the US elections on November 3. This means that there is little time for the Republican majority to approve its candidate before Election Day.
