The race began in Michigan on Sunday, where thousands of people showed up in cold winds at a sports stadium outside Detroit.
“I don’t think he knows he’s losing,” Trump said of his opponent Biden.

FiveThirtyEight’s weighted poll for the national average now gives Biden 52 percent of the vote. Against Trump 43 percent.
The RealClearPolitics average from the latest polls gives Biden a lead of just over 7 percentage points.
But Trump still has a chance to win, and polls show a steady run in several major tip states. In Florida, Biden’s lead is just 0.7 percentage points on RealClearPolitics and 1.8 on FiveThirtyEight.
The battle for Texas is smoother than expected. Trump leads the state by just 2.3 percentage points.

The Texas Supreme Court today rejected a request by Republicans to end the “direct vote” and cast about 127,000 votes in the state’s most populous county, Harris County.
The court did not provide a reason for the decision. But Republicans believed it violated the Constitution and state electoral rules.
The lawsuit in Texas is one of several that Republican activists and local teams have filed against measures to increase voter turnout in the United States, the AP reports.
