(Tottenham 3-3 West Ham) Four minutes into extra time, West Ham completed an incredible comeback with a dream goal from Manuel Lanzini.

Tottenham were leading 3-0 already after 20 minutes, and seemed to be heading towards victory. But with only seven minutes left on the clock, it was still 3-0. Then things started to go wrong.

First, Fabian Balbuena stabbed Aaron Cresswell’s post into goal, and just a minute later Davinson Sánchez managed to get the ball into his own net. Then, four minutes into extra time, a Tottenham punt landed on Manuel Lanzini at 20 meters.

He loaded the cannon and called. The Argentine landed a dream blow and hit the ball on the crossbar. Thus, West Ham saved points with what may be the most beautiful goal of the season.

But in the opening, Tottenham were completely superior.

If you look up Nils Arne Eggen’s favorite word “interaction” in the dictionary, you can find a picture of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min next to it. Because the unstoppable Tottenham duo have now combined for eight goals in five games this season for Tottenham, and they are almost unstoppable.

Kane himself has 11 goal points in the first five games, while Son has 9 total goal points. The game against West Ham was no exception. The duo went on to serve and finish, and when the referee failed, at least one of them had been involved in all of Tottenham’s goals.

But the fiery collaboration burned better when combined. Already after a minute, Kane sent his striker over the edge. Son walked onto the field and brilliantly put the ball into the far corner.

Seven minutes later, the roles were reversed and Son handed the ball to Kane. He gave West Ham captain Declan Rice a beautiful tunnel before tossing the ball into the far corner.

Bale-return

At 17 minutes into the game, the arrangement was apparently decided, when Kane stabbed 3-0 behind a fabulous post from Sergio Regulion.

In the second half, the Totteham fans received another big boost when “the son who returned” Gareth Bale entered with about 20 minutes to play. Bale devastated Tottenham and was the club’s big star seven years ago. He then left the club in favor of Real Madrid, but is now back and got his first minutes with Tottenham after the return.

The Welshman went straight onto the field for a free kick and confidently lined up to take it himself. The shot, however, did not strike in the direction he had dreamed of and landed right in Fabianski’s lap.

And shortly after, Tottenham completely fell apart …
