Tottenham confirm that Matt Doherty is ready for the club. He’s from Wolverhampton.
The right-back has signed a four-year contract and will play with number two on his back.
Doherty has played at Wolverhampton for ten years after transferring from the Bohemians. The 28-year-old played against the Wolves from League One to the Premier League and beyond the Europa League play-offs.
He has played more than 300 games for the Wolves.
The 28-year-old played 50 games for the Wolves last season and contributed heavily to both offense and defense. In total, there were seven goals in all competitions.

Doherty will be Tottenham’s third signing this summer. From before, Danish midfielder Pierre-Emile Højbjerg and veteran goalkeeper Joe Hart have entered the stadium gates.
