On Thursday at 5 pm, Oslo Frp has called an extraordinary meeting of the county board. The meeting is secret and free of publicity, but Dagsavisen knows that the subject of the meeting will be the situation of the county leader, Geir Ugland Jacobsen. Several independent sources inform Dagsavisen that the county board will consider opening an exclusion or suspension case against the county leader.

Dagsavisen has seen the notice of the county board meeting. It appears that the case is treated as a case b, that is, it is exempt from public access and that no documents will be distributed before the meeting. It is also clearly expressed the wish that no member of the county council release information about the meeting to anyone.

Exclusion case

If a party member is to be excluded or suspended from Frp, the case should be referred to the party organizing committee. Organizing committee leader Alf Erik Andersen confirms to Dagsavisen that the committee has a case on the table dealing with Geir Ugland Jacobsen, but he doesn’t want to say anything about what the case is about, what the process is about or what has happened. so far in the case.

Oslo Frp Deputy Political Director Andreas Meeg-Bentzen writes the following in an SMS to Dagsavisen:

– We cannot comment on the content of any internal meeting, but please take into account what the organizing committee should have said and will forward it to the organizing committee. Beyond this, I cannot comment on the case.

Sources tell Dagsavisen that Ugland Jacobsen was in a meeting with the organizing committee on Tuesday. With him was former party chair Carl I. Hagen. The two are considered the most important supporters of the other.

When asked about his knowledge that a lawsuit has been started in the match against Ugland Jacobsen, Hagen responds:

To Jensen

Since being elected as the new county leader of Oslo Frp in February this year, Ugland Jacobsen has managed to create a number of headlines. Already in the same year he was elected, he was one of several who were behind the resolution that the FRP will be a “beacon for patriotic voters,” which generated much controversy.

This summer, he was also behind a proposal in Finansavisen where he questioned Siv Jensen’s position as the first nominee of the Oslo FRP before next year’s parliamentary elections. Several county teams in Frp spoke in response to the proposal to close all of Oslo Frp. The end of the visa was that the Oslo Frp county board adopted a statement in which they gave Jensen their full support.

Also last week, Ugland Jacobsen generated reactions when in an interview on VG he gave his full support to Donald Trump’s claims that Democrats cheated to win the US election. Dagsavisen knows that the interview has received strong reactions internally in Oslo Frp.
