Tor Henning Dalen, 39, was shot by police in an action in Bolkesjø on Tuesday. Police release the name after a conversation with family members.

An officer fired shots
There was an official who fired the shots, confirmed investigative leader Marit Storeng at the VG Special Unit early Thursday.
– I can confirm that an officer fired. This is one of the two suspects, says Storeng.
A witness VG spoke with on Tuesday night says he heard at least three shots after police entered the home. The owner of the company where the 39-year-old man worked has told VG that his colleagues at the scene must have heard four shots.

Two service weapons were seized
Storeng does not want to comment on the only official who fired shots, also fired warning shots.
