– Police were notified at 8:08 p.m. that they had not entered where they had rented the boat, operations manager Trond Volden in the Trøndelag police district tells NTB.

He claims that there are three fishing tourists from southern Europe who have been on a fishing trip in Vikna for several years in a row.

At 10.30 pm, the police report that fishing tourists have been found on the reef of a Sea King helicopter. They don’t need medical supervision, police say.

A lifeboat, a Sea King helicopter and police teams participated in the rescue operation.

The operations manager states that there is 15-16 seconds of wind and some precipitation in the area.
