they yelled at each other

A sensational meeting is said to have taken place in President Donald Trump’s office on Friday this week.

The meeting must have been loud and people must have yelled at each other, according to one person who was briefed on the meeting, writes the New York Times.

Meeting “ugly”

According to the main newspaper, Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani and General Michael Flynn, a former security adviser who was recently pardoned, among others, attended the meeting, the first by phone.

The state of emergency as a tool in fighting the election result is said to have emerged during the meeting, in addition to the president discussing whether Sidney Powell should be a special adviser and monitor a voter fraud investigation, the newspaper writes.

Powell received a lot of attention after he made bizarre accusations that former Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez ordered the development of a system of electoral fraud. Chávez died in 2013. The Trump camp distanced itself from Powell after that.

CNN also covers the meeting, with the headline “chaos in the White House.”

According to the television channel, Powell himself was also present, along with Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and adviser Pat Cipollone, and the meeting is described as heated.

Two people familiar with the case say according to the channel that the meeting was not planned, but that it ultimately led to the participants yelling at each other. This is said to have been caused by Trump aides who opposed the “outrageous” proposal by Powell and Flynn to roll back the election.

One person described the meeting as “ugly,” and Powell and Flynn allegedly accused the others of leaving the president while he worked on the outcome of the election.

John Bolton, a former Trump adviser, recently commented on the news of the allegedly heated White House meeting. He reacted in particular to the assertion that there should have been talk of using a state of emergency to reverse the outcome of the elections.

– This is shocking. There’s no other way to describe it. “It’s unbelievable,” he told CNN.

He stressed that it is important to understand that this “is another day in the Oval Office office.”

– There is a theory that Trump is getting worse as January 20 approaches. It will not be. It is the same behavior over and over again.

Additionally, Bolton said Trump is incompetent and unfit for work.

Bolton has also commented on the recent hacker attack, in which US experts have singled out Russia, but Trump himself has described it as overblown, claiming that China may be behind it.

– The top priority should be, if we claim that it is the Russians – and that is where the information tends to point – what the consequences should be, he said in an interview with MSNBC on Friday.

In the interview, he described the attack as a major problem and cautioned against underestimating its importance.

Bolton attacks

It may seem that it is the previous interview that turns the president red. Early Sunday Norwegian time, Trump approaches Bolton.

– What does Bolton, one of the dumbest people in Washington know? Wasn’t he the person who made the stupid statement on television, “Libya Solution,” when he described what the United States should do for North Korea?

In April 2018, when John Bolton was still President Donald Trump’s national security adviser, he declared that he believed Libya could serve as a model for what the United States would do with North Korea’s nuclear weapons program.

Trump has since fired him and has written the book “The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir,” which contained a series of revelations about the administration and Trump.

– I have many other stupid stories about Bolton, writes the president.

In another Twitter message, Trump writes that reports of a state of emergency are fake news, and shortly thereafter he follows up with a message that the presidential election was affected by fraud.

No evidence of widespread voter fraud has been presented and Joe Biden will move into the White House in January.
