The first place is also clear this time. Behind are Christian Gruner Sundt (405.6 million) and Ivar Tollefsen (232.6 million).

Among other things, Mohn is the largest owner of the Arctic Securities brokerage house and one of the major shareholders of the publicly traded Bergenbio.

Last year, Mohn’s Meteva’s investment company ended up with a profit of NOK 282.6 million before tax. Thus, 2019 was much better for the Bergen resident than the previous year, when the company had a loss of 314 million before taxes.

In 2019, the investor earned a dividend of NOK 515 million. At the same time, he broke old donation records when he distributed $ 812 million to charities.

The recent summary from the Tax Administration on Tuesday shows that Mohn had a fortune of NOK 4.5 billion last year. The investor, among other things, has invested his assets in stocks and funds, real estate, shipments and currency positions.

Salmon inheritance increases

Salmon heir Gustav Magnar Witzøe ranks fourth in peak income. He is the youngest on the list again.

The 27-year-old is the richest in Norway with a fortune of 20.9 billion and has therefore surpassed Røkke.
