A Romanian truck driver was detained by police after reports of meandering drivers on E6. The man was arrested north of Sarpsborg with more than 2 in a thousand.
Police received a warning from a motorist about 20 hours on Sunday night about driving a car northbound between Svinesund and Sarpsborg, reports NRK.
– The message was that the truck was using the entire width of the road, that is, both lanes on the road, and turning between them, says operations manager Finn Håvard Aas in the Eastern Police District.
A police patrol stopped the truck train in Missingmyr on the Council, and it was clear that the Romanian driver was intoxicated. It turned out that the man had a headache of more than 2, more than ten times the legal value.
The drunk driver lost his driver’s license, was arrested and must appear in court.
