The party was held in a nightclub.

in a Twitter message The local sheriff’s office writes that the party went against the strict corona measures that have been introduced in the city, which among other things set a limit that a maximum of ten people can gather at private events indoors and outdoors.

Also bars, restaurants and gyms must be closed from 22:00 to 05:00 in the city.

Violation of the Alcohol Law

It wasn’t just the strict measures of the crown that the party took against.

– The organizers of the party did not have a license to serve alcohol, the sheriff’s office added in the Twitter message.

Four people have been reported for, among other things, violating infection control provisions and the Alcohol Act after the party.

The United States has been hit hard by the corona pandemic. So far, 13,750,608 people have been registered infected in the country and 273,077 have died from the virus, according to figures from Worldometer.

Reopen schools

New York has long been described as the epicenter of the country, with 679,111 recorded cases of infection alone, according to Worldometer figures.

However, on Sunday, Mayor Bill de Blasio announced that some of the city’s schools and kindergartens will reopen on Monday, December 7, while others will take longer before they can open.

New York closed its schools to 1.1 million students on November 19.

On Sunday, the past seven days saw an average of 2,050 infected people in the city, the New York Times wrote. This was an increase of 302 cases from the average of the previous week.
