The municipality has uncovered what they describe as “disturbing conditions during the detection of contagion,” they say in a press release.
– We also have indications that there have been parties with a lot of people recently and that they may have created big outbreaks, says Garåsen.
Reason to seriously consider
The municipality of Trondheim is now warning that this could lead to the introduction of stricter measures during Christmas.
– Our findings are alarming and give reason to seriously consider whether a more extensive closure will be introduced in Trondheim this Christmas, says Garåsen.
It states that it may be relevant to reduce the number that can be met by regulation. The municipality will consider new measures on December 29.

Garåsen adds that traces of infection indicate that several people in that environment have traveled abroad during this period and that they have not been quarantined upon return.

– We do not know the exact number of people in the environment, because it is a demanding and large-scale job. There are several who care about providing information about the environment, he says.
However, they meet someone and gradually discover who they are, he says.
