Labor and Social Democrats must comply with climate and nature to have our support, but we will give them the opportunity. We put the climate and nature first, and no one can count on our support if they don’t deliver, not even the Labor Party and the Socialist People’s Party, says party leader Une Bastholm on the MDGs.
The National Board emphasizes that the MDGs are still open to cooperation between the blocs to achieve the greatest possible green policy, if the Labor Party and the Socialist People’s Party do not set the climate and nature high enough.

The fact that the MDGs now point to the left means a change of line for the party, which considers itself independent of the bloc.
