The number of new cases of infection in Bergen is declining, from 25 new coronary cases on Wednesday to 13 new cases on Thursday.
Those infected are between 17 and 67 years old. Most of the new infections are in the age group of 21 to 30 years, where only two of them are students. There are two cases of import infection and three have an unknown infection route.
– It is too early to tell if it is a trend or if it is a random variation. We need several days with significant changes from the past to establish that there is a downward trend, says medical director Trond Egil Hansen at a news conference Thursday.
He tells TV 2 which trend they will be able to establish in three or four days.

As a precautionary measure, nursing home and home service employees and visitors will now wear face masks when it is not possible to maintain a distance of one meter.
– This is a precautionary measure to protect the elderly, which is a group that is particularly vulnerable in the face of developing a serious illness as a result of COVID-19, Hansen says in a press release.
Emphasize that you only need to wear a mask if it is not possible to comply with the subway rule.
In home care service, the guidelines for the use of a bandage apply in cases where the recipient of the service is 65 years or older.
The measures in the municipality of Bergen
- Recommendation for the use of mouthpiece in public transport in congestion situations where the subway rule cannot be complied with.
- The number of people attending both private meetings and public events is reduced. A maximum of 10 people can now attend private meetings. A maximum of 50 people can attend public events.
- Visiting restrictions are introduced in municipal health institutions. The one hour a week scheme is reintroduced.
- In pubs and restaurants, guests must identify themselves and an overview of the guests who have been present must be kept.
- All municipality employees who may have a home office must have one.
- The City Council has also appointed municipal crisis management (KKL).
- The measures were adopted on Tuesday, September 8. On Wednesday, September 16, they were extended until Tuesday, September 22.

The municipality of Bergen has introduced a number of measures as a result of the outbreak, including bandages on public transport.
