Grave had to surrender for Kjetil Kirk in the first game of the season on Sunday night. The 58-year-old was elected first champion after a disagreement with the great farmer Daniel Viem Årdal.
Grav did not want to help the other farm participants complete the weekly task after being chosen as the first champion, something that Årdal obviously appreciated little.
The two argued openly in front of television cameras.
– There are buttocks as childish as what becomes a commander in the army. That does not come to anything else. Can not do nothing. He has worked in a store, that’s what he has done. How old is he? 35 years soon? Grave said on the show, according to VG.
For Grav, the newspaper now emphasizes that he does not have a condescending attitude towards the store employees.
– I have received some criticism from those closest to me for that. They think it was embarrassing that I said that. It may seem a bit condescending to the store employees, but the reason I said that was that he expressed that he was a supervisor when he established himself and became a great farmer. Then it was later learned that he works in a store in Steinkjer. And so you’re not exactly a supervisor who will work where we were, Grav tells VG.
The 58-year-old understands that someone reacts to the comment on the show. Now he apologizes.
– Of course, there is no good looks on my part, and many probably feel a bit hurt by that. But it certainly did not. On behalf of all the store employees, I just want to apologize, Grav tells VG.
