“The Farm” 2020: – The noise of the “Farm”: – I wanted to expose myself

On Tuesday, Dagbladet was able to reveal that several of this year’s “Farmen” contestants have violated a number of infection control rules during their time on the farm.

Some have gone on several occasions to other nearby huts around the “Farm”, where they got everything from food and sweets to alcohol. Some were also allowed to call home.

Dagbladet is informed Tuesday afternoon that one of the phone’s use cases could have cost a participant dearly.

The fact that “Farmen” participant Inger Cecilie Grønnerød (47) is a horse breeder is something she did not intend to share with the other participants.

When Dagbladet first met her shortly before checking into the farm, the 47-year-old said she wanted animal welfare to focus on the farm, but wanted to hide the relevant experience she had with her in her luggage.

– I wanted to expose myself

Currently on the farm, it is not known among the other participants that Inger Cecilie Grønnerød actually runs a horse center at her home in Halden.

However, she now tells Dagbladet that another participant has tried to expose her when she gained access by phone.

According to Grønnerød, Daniel Viem Årdal (30) used a phone to look her up online and later found out more about her profession, and that she is not “just a teacher” as she pretended.

– Suddenly I became the biggest player on the farm, since I had kept my profession hidden, he says, and continues:

– Everything is destroyed for me, and there are many rumors.

– Incorrect

However, Viem Årdal does not acknowledge himself at all in the 47-year-old’s allegations and claims that he only used the phone to call home.

– There was little coverage there so we weren’t allowed to Google anything, he thinks.

Also, the Trøndelag resident says he only spoke to his mother.

– Inger Cecilie revealed her own knowledge about horses on the farm. I put together all the pieces of situations where she could do more than non-horse people can. Then I understood the drawing, but I never looked it up online, she says.

On Tuesday’s episode of the television competition, there is also another incident that compromised Grønnerød’s secret.

Participants use horses to carry wood, but when storms strike, the horse accelerates. Sindre Nyeng (23) is sitting in the back of the carriage.

– It was terribly dramatic, Grønnerød tells Dagbladet about the incident at the farm.

– everything was wrong

In the episode, you see the horse run away as the logs fall from the carriage. Nyeng also recovers at some point. The way the latter left the carriage is one of the things that made Grønnerød stress out.

– To maximize the crisis, everything was done wrong here. The cart was not loaded properly, it is not a sit-down cart, and it was not insured. We had also seen signs that the horse reacted to thunderstorms, believes Grønnerød.

Halden’s 47-year-old man gets angry in the episode. Now he says it was fear.

– I was very scared, and then you get angry too. I imagined that Sindre had been thrown against the wall and broken his neck. In addition, both the horse and other participants could have been seriously injured, he says.

– I tell Sindre, who is used to trotting horses, that he is wrong and I shouldn’t know it because they don’t know how much I know about horses, he continues.

Grønnerød says she was really worried about Nyeng and that’s why she spoke so loudly to him.

– I had to jump

Sindre Nyeng, for her part, says she has extensive experience trotting horses and riding with carriages. He believes that he handled the situation in the best way possible when the accident occurred.

– I spoke with my grandfather who has 70 years of experience with horses, and he would have done it the same way, Nyeng tells Dagbladet.

– I did what I could and tried to control the horse to stop. When I realized that the situation did not change, I decided to leave, continue.

The 23-year-old is sure he would have been injured if he had chosen otherwise.

When it comes to Grønnerød’s handling of the situation afterward, he understands that she reacted with anger.

Therefore, he withdrew from

– I had the impression that Inger Cecilie knew a lot about horses, and we had a close contact on the farm, she says, adding:

– I take the way he reacted as a caress. You often get angry when you are afraid of the people you care about.

According to Nyeng, the 47-year-old’s reaction was not taken ill, not even afterwards.

– Fortunately, all animals and humans did well, he continues.
