The entire section of the Education Agency in Oslo ends in protest

Section Director Inger Bergkastet and all permanent employees of the agency’s core learning environment team have chosen to resign from their positions, Aftenposten writes.

Thus the entire academic community disappears, which has helped schools in matters of bullying, dissatisfaction among students and other conflicts.

The reason is the “indefensible” system of administration at work with legislation related to the school environment of students, as well as the inappropriate involvement and participation of the Learning Environment Team in the reorganization work of the agency.

The director of the education agency, Marte Gerhardsen, reorganized the agency when she replaced Astrid Søgnen, who was forced to resign after a conflict with the city council.

The consequence of leaving the academic environment may, among other things, be further exclusion from the Oslo school, ombud Kjersti Owren fears bullying.

In a letter to the directors of the Oslo school, Gerhardsen writes that he regrets that “some key people” have chosen to leave the agency and that he welcomes qualified employees.

Gerhardsen says in a comment to Aftenposten that there are several employees in different departments who also guide schools on the learning environment. (NTB)
