Travel tip: all of Denmark turns red
Starting Saturday, new travel tips apply. Then, the Foreign Ministry advises against traveling to Estonia, the Finnish region of Södra Savolax and the Danish regions of Zealand and North Jutland.
Travelers from these areas who come to Norway from midnight on Saturday night should be quarantined, the Foreign Ministry writes in a press release.
The change in the travel advice of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is based on the weekly assessment of the National Institute of Public Health of the situation of the coronavirus infection, and the government has decided that these countries and regions go from yellow to red. The change means that all of Denmark will be red.
At the same time, the entry quarantine of Liechtenstein and Iceland is removed, turning from red to yellow. The same applies to the regions of Kalmar and Blekinge in Sweden and Kajanaland in Finland.
On Tuesday, FHI also recommended turning Poland yellow, but rising infection rates in recent days, as well as a large number of trips and more import cases, prompted FHI to change the proposal, NTB reports.
