The Conservatives and the Labor Party are back, while the Socialist Party pushes a new vote

The progress is an increase of 2.7 percentage points from the October survey and 5 percentage points better than the September survey, the survey that Norstat has conducted on behalf of Vårt Land shows.

The Conservatives finish with 21.9 percent (-2.4), the lowest level since the crown pandemic hit Norway in March.

– The crowning gain has been quite significant for conservatives, higher in March and April. Before that, they were in a very bad position and below 20 percent. The marked wear and tear of the government. One can imagine that if it weren’t for the crisis, the party would have been significantly lower, election researcher Bernt Aardal of the University of Oslo tells the newspaper.

The Conservatives remain the largest party in the poll, while the Labor Party is the second largest with a support of 20.9 percent (-2.6).

With 38 seats each, the SP and the Labor Party would have had a strong starting point to obtain a majority for a new government in the Storting. So 85 reps are required.

The survey was conducted from November 9-15 by Norstat for Vårt Land. There are 952 respondents.
