VG reports,
Dagbladet and Nettavisen on Saturday night.

The defender of man, Dag Svensson, informs VG that the relevant section is section 255 of the Penal Code, on the serious deprivation of liberty.

– The police stated this when we started the interrogations today, says Svensson.

According to Nettavisen, the customer is not aware of this charge.

Prosecutor Haris Hrenovica of the Eastern Police District confirms that the charge has changed.

– The position has been changed to contribute to the serious deprivation of liberty, see Penal Code §255. We have no further comment on the charges now, Hrenovica said in a press release.

Punitive Denied

The defendant was arrested in Oslo on Thursday night. The man rejected the punishment. Several interrogations were carried out last Saturday afternoon, where the man explained himself to the police.

“He has been released because the police do not believe there is a danger of confiscation,” prosecutor Hrenovica said in a press release.

For the sake of the ongoing investigation, police on Saturday night have no further comment to give, he says.

According to the police, the man in his 30s has a relationship with Tom Hagen, and police say they are familiar with the man’s experience in IT and cryptocurrency.

Svensson on Saturday did not say whether this has been an issue in interrogations. TV 2 has found several posts on online forums where the defendant has posted. This has been previously discussed by VG.

In the post, which dates back to several months after the disappearance of Anne-Elisabeth Hagen, the man writes, among other things, that there is no way to control the cryptocurrency and that it opens opportunities for criminals.
