In 2022, Sidse Babett Knudsen will be seen again as Birgitte Nyborg in the television series “Borgen”.

Danish Radio announces on Wednesday that the television series “Borgen” will return to the screen.

The popular political drama series has spanned three seasons since 2010 and was also broadcast on NRK.

Sidse Babett Knudsen assumed the lead role of Prime Minister Birgitte Nyborg. In 2013, when the series ended, his New Democrats party was in a coalition government.

Both Knudsen and Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, who played their press officer Katrine Fønsmark, are back in this fourth season in 2022.
