Two people were asleep when a car crashed into the wall of a house in Skien overnight until Friday.
Police reported the accident in the center of Skien at 2.15 in the morning. A passenger car went in a left turn and eventually ended up in a window of a nearby house.
Police describe damage to home as major
– The driver has had good speed, because the car has pushed a couple of stones, still on a sidewalk, turned around and hit a window of the house. The entire window frame has been squeezed, says operations manager for the Southeast Police District Erik Gunnerød.
Two people were asleep when the car entered the house. They are unharmed, but shaken, police say.
The driver was alone in the car and driven to Skien hospital. Among other things, you should have received a cut.
“We do tests on the spot and then we have to go to the hospital to try to question the driver of the car,” said the operations manager.

The footprints at the scene indicate that the car was traveling at high speed.

They suspect that the driver was under the influence of narcotics during the trip, and the necessary tests will be taken.
