Police will look at surveillance photos at the scene.
The owner of the car, Leif Johnny Torgersen, parked his Tesla outside an auto repair shop in Fana a week ago.
On Monday morning he received a phone call from the workshop. He thought that he should finally tell her that the car was ready to be picked up.
– Then they told me that the car was locked and that all the wheels and tires had been stolen. It was a shock, he says.
80,000 crowns
Torgersen believes that the robbery may have been committed by professional actors.
The car’s camera, which is connected to the owner’s mobile app, is turned off. The stolen parts are very special, according to the owner, and must be worth 80,000 crowns.
– The case has been reviewed and I hope it gets to the bottom of this, he says.
Police have begun investigations.
– Have some direction
Operations manager Tore-André Brakstad says police will take a closer look at the surveillance footage in the workshop. He says it is too early to say anything about the robbery committed by professionals.
– At the same time, there are relatively valuable stolen tires. They probably had some influence, he says.
Currently, no one is suspected in the case.
This is not the first time that such robberies have taken place in Fana. Several cars were placed in blocks and wheels removed in 2017. At the time, police said the robberies seemed organized.
