On Sunday morning, Sweden put the first vaccine in a nursing home in Mölby. Over the next few weeks, 4,900 older people will be vaccinated against the coronavirus.
On the third day of Christmas, Sweden started vaccination, according to Expressen.
Gun-Britt Johnsson (91) at the Bokens nursing home in Mölby became one of the first Swedes to receive the vaccine from Pfizer and BioNTech. It happened on Sunday morning shortly after 8 o’clock.
– I didn’t feel anything, the 91-year-old man is said to have told SVT.
Several residents of the nursing home received the first dose. You must receive two doses to be fully vaccinated.
Sweden recently received its first delivery of 9,750 doses. Stockholm, Västra Götaland and Skåne must have received 425 doses. The raster doses are distributed to the rest of the regions of Sweden.
A total of 4,900 people in Sweden will be vaccinated against the crown in the first installment. Another 80,000 doses will arrive in the country next week.
In recent weeks, the Swedish government has tightened its crown restrictions. The country has an increasing trend towards infection, the VG summary shows.

In Norway, FHI now plans to start vaccinating 5,000 nursing home residents in Oslo and the surrounding areas.
The vaccination begins on Sunday and the first sting will likely take place in a nursing home in the Oslo area.
The first vaccine delivery, which arrived in Oslo on Christmas 2, was 9,750 doses. The doses will be distributed to seven municipalities in eastern Norway, with the following municipalities receiving the vaccine first:

- Whales
- Oslo
Norway will receive approx. 40,000 doses delivered. The first regular delivery arrives on the third day of Christmas, and according to FHI it is 35,000 doses.
In total, municipalities have been informed that half, just over 17,000 doses, can be sent to them in the first week.
