Thousands of people have been involved in the search for the 17-year-old, who has not yet been found. About ten days after the search, however, a part of the body was found, which was carried out by the police, concluding that she is no longer alive.

The Swedish prosecutor’s office has filed charges against a 23-year-old man who was the ex-boyfriend of the 17-year-old.

According to the indictment filed on Wednesday, the woman was killed as a result of repeated acts of violence.

Several witnesses heard screams

Analysis of the body part showed obvious damage. Police believe this confirms that the 17-year-old girl was subjected to violence before she died.

According to the Swedish prosecution, technical evidence in the form of, inter alia, fingerprints has been found at the site where the body part was found. DNA discoveries have also been made.

Various witness statements have been forwarded to the police. Among other things, the screaming must have been heard from home, he writes. SVT

Knives found with the DNA of the deceased

Police believe the 23-year-old girl killed Wilma for the first time in her own living room. Then he must have gotten rid of Wilma in one or more unknown places.

In the apartments, the police have found several knives with Wilma’s DNA on the tip and the egg.

In questioning, the 23-year-old said he received the knives as a gift from Wilma’s mother when they moved into the department, Expressen writes.

The 17-year-old was last seen in Uddevalla on November 14 of last year. A few days later, the 23-year-old was arrested and charged with murder.

Silenced for half an hour

Technical studies have found a total of 14 prints from 23 years old. On November 28, the police entered the apartment with a body that marked a place in the house.

“It was then that the part of the body that confirmed that Wilma was dead was found,” said actor Jim Westerberg.

When faced with the discovery of the body part, you must have stood still for almost half an hour before asking to go to the bathroom.

When you got to see police photos of the discovery, you must have answered like this:

– It’s brutal

Police: “heavy and often frustrating”

He has repeatedly refused to have killed the 17-year-old.

– You forget that this is a girl that I have loved and that I have lived my life perfectly, says the 23-year-old.

Despite damage to the identified body part, coroners cannot determine the cause of death. However, the prosecution believes this is not crucial to the murder charge.

“We are convinced that Wilma was killed in the current residence,” said Police Chief Sten-Rune Timmersjö during the press conference on Wednesday. Nor did he hide that the investigation was “heavy and often frustrating.”

Mother: – She must have a funeral

One of the man’s two attorneys, Peter Olsson, criticizes the police investigation.

– I can see that it is a very complete investigation, and you have spoken with many people. But in the crucial parts there are great weaknesses. You don’t know how he died, when he died or where he diedhe points out.

Wilma’s mother Linda Andersson hopes one day to bury her beloved daughter.

– She must have a funeral, and then I can bury her whole, not just a part. Wilma needs peace, and we have a place to go, says SvD’s mother.

The trial of the man is expected to begin on May 26 in the Uddevalla District Court.
