The only Norwegian on the super-G podium on Saturday.
Sejersted was the first out of the Norwegians on Saturday, placing just ten hundredths behind the leader, Mauro Caviezel.
– It’s just to congratulate today’s great man, the NRK commentator enthused.
The 26-year-old finished the Alpine season in mid-January due to a pectoral muscle injury after a fall in Wengen.
– He’s gotten older, he’s more experienced and it’s amazing that he skis so well after injury. He’s always been a fearless guy, a bit like Body Miller. We are very confident that Adrian can become a real winner. He can become one of the toughest sprinting runners, Kjetil André Aamodt told NRK when the podium place (almost) was a given.

Even today’s great hero would not agree that second place was secured even in an interview with NRK, but he did admit that this was a great day for him.
– Yes, but before I have gone crazy to celebrate it before. But thanks! I knew it was going to be a little war with snow in the air, but at the same time I knew this was a path that suited me well. Snow is nice enough for the weather, but difficult with visibility. I am very touched and struggling a bit to hold back the tears now. This is something I’ve worked on for many years, and it seems to hold up, Sejersted clearly marked to NRK via Facetime.
For a time Aleksander Aamodt Kilde was also likely to catch up with the best, but some serious mistakes in between ruined the chances of succeeding.
– It seems he was a bit hesitant throughout the race here, said Kjetil André Aamodt from NRK.

It should be difficult for someone to challenge Sejersted and Caviezel. Jansrud repeated some of the mistakes to Kilde, but in return he complied on the lower part of the route. He stayed just 82 hundredths behind Caviezel.
In the end, it was only a sixth place for Jansrud, and Kilde had to settle for a twelfth place.
