The United manager said at the press conference prior to Saturday’s meeting with Chelsea. The 47-year-old is also aware that things are often exaggerated in the media and uses Mason Greenwood as an example from his own ranks.
– He made a mistake this summer when he was at the national team meeting, and he put the entire English press on his neck. I don’t know where the stories come from, and I can’t really understand those who think it’s unprofessional, he says, adding that he’s not worried about the 19-year-old.
– Not at all. I almost have to disappoint you, he is never late for training and trains very well. Those who say otherwise do not know what they are talking about, it is the clear message of the Norwegian.

Mason Greenwood was not part of the Manchester United team that beat PSG in the middle of the week. Neither were Edinson Cavani and captain Harry Maguire, but before tomorrow’s game with Chelsea, Solskjær will bring good news.
– I hope all three are available, and I think everyone has a chance to play. Edinson wants to be 100 percent ready, and we’ll talk later today. It also has a positive effect on Mason Greenwood and Harry Maguire, says the United manager, while promising another new signing and more first-team opportunities.
– Donny van de Beek is fresh and ready, and of course he will play more. You will also get that in what will be a long season. There is fierce competition for venues and you must have time to adjust. But he works hard and is humble, says Solskjær.
