Both Sandra Lyng (33) and Knut Marius Djupvik (32) got off to a good start in the final.

VG critic Tor Martin Bøe rolls the dice all night long. You can do the same. See the graphics further down the article.

So they stuck with these two: Sandra Lyng (33), who came in fourth place on “Idol” 16 years ago, and Knut Marius Djupvik (32), who won “The Voice” in 2013.

«Now it’s coming soon! KJØØØØØØR!»Knut Marius wrote on Instagram minutes before sending it.

Sandra was also hopeful:

«If the incredible thing happens that I win, then we win together»He wrote to his fans on Saturday morning.

– If I win tonight, I will buy ice cream for everyone who has voted, said a smiling Sandra after her first performance, for which she was rewarded with a five-dollar bill by the VG critic.

Knut Marius also had a full power-up.

– I’ve had a fantastic trip, he said after singing his first song, an achievement that made the VG critic roll a six on the dice.

Knut Marius also got six dice on the last song he completed.

While Knut Marius has been among viewers ‘and critics’ favorites on “Star Wars” from the get-go, Sandra has had to be in the infamous danger zone multiple times.

She has even experienced being kicked out of the competition, which turned out to be due to voting loops. Thus, Sandra came back as fast as she left, and has since taken revenge for revenge.

The two finalists will sing three songs each: a repeat of one of the fall genres, a song from their own repertoire, and finally each their own ending song.

Maria Mena (34), last year’s winner Bilal Saab (21) and Mona B. Riise (48) are in the judging pair.

– I did not sleep last night. Let the games begin! Mona said excitedly when the show was on.

The article is continually updated.

Songs and order

1. Sandra: 2009’s “Run This Town” (Jay-Z with Rihanna og Kanye West):

– This was the reason why he wanted to return as judge. I believe in you like this. Thank you! Maria Mena said after the performance.

Bilal Saab thought this “sounded like bullets and gunpowder.”

Mona was also pleased:

– You were so raw. It is so believable. Fantastic!

2. Knut Marius: “With a little help from my friends” (Joe Cocker) since 1969:

Mona was impressed:

– I feel like they cleanse me when you ignite your soul. I think you’ll get all the jokes out in those minutes. This was fun!

– Totally ill. Unbelievably good, Bilal thought.

– You are fantastic. If I had had your vocal cords, it would have pressed too, said Maria, who nonetheless asked for a bit of restraint.

3. Sandra with her new single «Get rid of the flag»:

– Two years ago I became a mother, and then maybe the idea occurred to me that I couldn’t continue as an artist. But with “Star Wars” I got a new life, she explained about her song written by herself.

– It feels like I give all my soul, I trust the television.

– A bit like being naked, Sandra said even after the performance.

The judging panel was also enthusiastic about this performance and thought that Sandra showed vulnerability in a particularly pleasant way.

– I have not dared to join “Star Wars”, and there is a reason for it. It’s scary, said Maria.

4. Knut Marius with his new single: “Can you help me help”:

The song is very personal, about mental health, and Knut Marius confided to television that he had previously felt anxious and feared his career might end.

– This is much more than a job, he said before the performance and explained how important it is for him to be able to live from what he is passionate about.

The jury boasted uncontrollably, including Maria.

– I withdraw what I said instead, Maria said, about the fact that she expressed her desire for a little more calm.

5. Sandra’s last song: “Titanium” David Guetta and Sia’s hit song of 2011:

He gets sad when “Star Wars” ends. I’ve grown up on this, Sandra said on tonight’s broadcast.

– I feel like I have a great group of friends behind me, she said about everyone who has voted for her.

– “Star Wars” has given me more faith in myself. I stay a stronger lady.

Sandra delighted the jury with this one, although some thought it was not quite right.

– You are a star and you have something very special, Mona said through tears.

6. Knut Marius Final Song: Queen’s 1991 Classic “The Show Must Go On”:

– Songs are important in the time we are in now. You sit at home a lot. The concerts are canceled. I hope that everyone who sits at home and in the hallway and watches, “the show must go on,” Knut Marius explained on the broadcast.

– Suddenly I find myself in what was just a dream. Suddenly I’m on television. Now it’s almost over, but before that I’ll at least hit with Queen music, he smiled.

The jury was ecstatic. “Insane” and “you can follow fucking Freddy Mercury,” reads Bilal and Maria’s tribute.

– Love you very much. The great voice, Mona said.

Did you think it was the first time Sandra and Knut Marius had faced each other in battle? Think again.

In fact, they have met once before. It happened in 2014 when everyone appeared on their own team on “Beat for Beat.” VG has found an old image in the archive.

– Yes, it is true, we were against each other, explained Knut Marius to VG on Friday night.

But he and Sandra hadn’t had a new meeting before they both received an invitation to “Star Wars.”

– Is special. That time with “Beat for Beat” we talked together at lunch, sang our songs and went our separate ways. Little did I know what the two of us would fight over a few years later, Knut Marius said.

– Spinning game

In 2014, Sandra Lyng teamed up with Mo Abdi Farah (28), while Knut Marius was in a team with Anine Stang (35).

– Almost even more fun is that she is the girl I sat and saw on “Idol” in 2004, who sang on television in my living room, who was going to be my final opponent on a dream show like “Star Wars “. Life is wild, Knut Marius thought.

Who won in 2014, he wasn’t sure.

“I don’t really remember, oddly enough, but I think it was Anine and me.”

Sandra also doesn’t remember who got the win on “Beat for Beat.”

“Unfortunately, but it was probably them,” he told VG the night before.
