In Trøndelag, the night has not caused great problems.

– We have had no weather-related assignments, Operations Manager Wenche Johnsen tells NTB.

Nordland police say the same thing when NTB calls Thursday morning.

– Last night we had patrols on the highways throughout the county and there was nothing to say about the weather.

In Møre og Romsdal, there were several weather-related traffic incidents on Wednesday night, but the NTB reports that it calmed down overnight.

FUN FOR KIDS: Heavy rains drew brothers Matheo (7) and Heine (14) to Sædalen in Bergen. – We know how it will always be, so we had to go out and see. They think it was a lot of fun, says their mother Maren Natland Eikeseth. PICTURED: KATRINE ROBINSON FORCE

In the West Police District, Operations Director Tatjana Knappen tells NTB that the night has passed without drama.

– It hasn’t been that long. No property damage was reported. Some trees on the road in a couple of places are the most dramatic, says Knappen at 6 o’clock on Thursday.

But the storm causes the cancellation of some ferry departures. According to the road traffic control center, this applies to Sandvikvåg-Halhjem (E39), Buavåg-Langevåg (FV 541), Leirvåg – Sløvåg (FV 57) and Fedje – Sævrøy (FV 568), while there are significant delays on section 54 Sandvikvåg-Husavik) (FV 57).

– Tonight seems to be calming down. But on Saturday there will be another low pressure. So we have to prepare for a new round of weather this weekend, says Borander.
