On Tuesday, the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) released new recommendations on which countries should turn red and which can turn yellow again, including northern regions.
Soon all of Europe is red
If the government follows FHI’s advice, it can reopen to Swedish trade from Saturday September 5 inclusive.
Värmland may turn yellow
FHI writes in a press release that they recommend the removal of the entry quarantine for various Swedish regions.
This applies in particular to Örebro (14.8), Gotland (18.4), Värmland (13.8), Västernorrland (15.1), Jämtland (10.7) and Västerbotten (9.9) – with each region infection rates in parentheses.
– In recent weeks, there has been a significant decrease in incidence in these regions, writes FHI.

If the regions mentioned are marked in yellow, Norwegians can go back to trading in Swedish in Charlottenberg and Töcksfors, both located in Värmland, and in Åre, further north, in Jämtland.
It was in Värmland, among other places, that it opened earlier this summer, when the same region had low infection rates, which later rose.
As is well known, travel tips are given for Denmark, Sweden and Finland at the regional level.
