Two adults and a child were taken to hospital after an ATV is said to have rolled down a slope in Kvam, western Norway.
The case is being updated.
On Saturday, emergency services received a report of a road accident in Øystese in the municipality of Kvam in western Norway.
– Two adults have been transported to Haukeland University Hospital by air ambulance and a child has been transported by ambulance, says Ronald Drotningsvik, duty commander at interchange 110 in Hordaland to VG.
– Information provided by witnesses at the scene says an all-terrain vehicle must have overturned and rolled down a slope, says operations manager Bjarte Rebnord in a press release.
There must be two adults and seven children on or near the ATV.
There is currently no general description of injuries.
Two air ambulances and a rescue helicopter have been called.
– ATV driven on the road and overturned. A total of 9 people on the ATV that overturned when capsizing. No one is currently trapped. Otherwise, the extent of the damage is unknown, the police write at 1:50 p.m.
A few minutes later, the police claim that two adults and a child are being treated on the spot.
– Six other children are cared for at the site. The children involved are between 3 and 10 years old, police wrote to. 14.07.
