Sean Connery’s widow, who passed away on Saturday at age 90, says her last wish came true.

The iconic actor suffered from dementia in recent years and died peacefully while sleeping with his family around him.

– I was with him the whole time and he just disappeared. He had dementia and it bothered him. He managed to fulfill his last wish to leave without problems, says Micheline Roquebrune (91) to Mail on Sunday, according to AFP.

She says that towards the end her husband was unable to express himself.

“There was no life for him,” said Roquebrune, who met Connery at a golf tournament in 1970 and married him in 1975.
