It’s been more than a month since Donald Trump lost the presidential election to Joe Biden. Since then, the president has lost multiple times, but polling stations have been replaced by courtrooms.
The president and his supporters have filed nearly 50 lawsuits in various states since November 3. The backgrounds of the lawsuits vary, but the purpose is the same: to make Biden the winner of the election.
Trump’s persistent activity so far has resulted in more than 30 losses and a poor victory. A dozen lawsuits are still pending in court.
Even the president’s own Minister of Justice acknowledges that there is no evidence of electoral fraud that could have changed the outcome of the elections. Trump and his legal team, on the other hand, stand their ground and continue to file lawsuit after lawsuit in state after state.

– This will continue to be a losing strategy and, in a way, it is also a bad strategy for Trump himself. He’s reliving the election loss over and over again, Kent Greenfield, a law professor at Boston College, told the Associated Press.
When Joe Biden crossed the magic line of 270 eligible voters Saturday night, Donald Trump and his supporters lost again in court, six times.
Tough night for Trump
The Trump campaign was unsuccessful in its attempts to overturn the election results in Nevada and Michigan, and the courts also rejected the appeals.
– The court has no credible or reliable evidence that the presidential elections in Nevada have been affected by cheating, the Nevada judge concluded, writes local newspaper The Nevada Independent.

In Minnesota, a group of Republican elected officials tried to prevent the state from approving Biden’s election victory. The attempt was roundly rejected by the state Supreme Court, writes the Star Tribune newspaper.
Attorney Sidney Powell, who had to leave Trump’s legal team in November, is still fighting on his own. Despite the great promises, the results failed for the outspoken lawyer. On Friday, the lawsuit against election provider Dominion was flatly rejected in Georgia.
– A dangerous path
In the state of Arizona, local Republican leader Kelli Ward wanted to challenge Biden’s electoral victory. Also here the judge ruled against the attempt.
– The court has found no evidence of electoral fraud, irregularities or any influence on the outcome of the elections, concludes the judge according to Forbes.
Even in Wisconsin, Trump’s camp didn’t have its turn Saturday night. Here, a group of Trump supporters wanted to cancel Biden’s election victory, which was roundly rejected by the state Supreme Court.
– The lawsuit being filed requires the most dramatic use of the judiciary you have ever seen. … This is a dangerous path, warns Conservative Judge Brian Hagedorn, quoted by the Washington Post.

While Hagedorn uses strong words, it is another Wisconsin judge who receives the most attention for his coverage of the lawsuits.
Federal Judge Brett Ludwig, who was appointed by Trump in September, held preliminary hearings on Friday in a federal lawsuit filed by the president.
Trump believes hundreds of thousands of Wisconsin mail-in ballots were illegal, and therefore demands that the state’s Republican state assembly be allowed to appoint new voters.
The “extraordinary” demand makes Ludwig close his eyes. The judge believes that the lawsuit has nothing to do with a federal court.
– I find it very, very, very difficult to see how this belongs in a federal court. The demand to allow the state assembly to decide this case seems almost strange to me, says Ludwig, appointed by Trump, according to the Associated Press.
The Trump campaign, for its part, notes that the courts must invalidate the election before state law can act.
If the court were to comply with the “strange” demand, the Wisconsin State Assembly leader has already indicated that they will not name new voters.
Facebook rant
Despite the courts being unanimous on his case, Trump still refuses to acknowledge electoral defeat. In a 45-minute Facebook video posted Wednesday, Trump once again made a series of undocumented allegations of voter fraud.
Pennsylvania State Attorney Josh Shapiro was unkind in his comment on the video.
– No, I didn’t hear any facts or evidence. What I heard was a sad rant on Facebook from a man who lost the election, Shapiro concluded.

On Saturday, the president travels to Georgia, where he is scheduled to campaign for Republican senators. Several within the party fear that the president would prefer to focus on making new accusations.
