After it became clear that Joe Biden won the election before President Donald Trump, the comedy show decided to make its own mark in its victory speech.

With actors Jim Carrey as Joe Biden and Maya Rudolf as Kamla Harris, they took the podium and “thanked the nation” for the electoral victory.

– Thank you very much America, can you believe it? I honestly can’t do that. It’s been so long since something good happened, Jim Carrey started his parody with.

But the show not only parodied the speech of thanks to the future president and his vice president.

Donald Trump, who remains president until January 20, was also parodied. Trump has yet to deliver a speech after it emerged that he lost the election. However, he has tweeted a lot and held a press conference at the White House before Biden was declared the winner.

But that didn’t stop Saturday Night Live and actor Alec Baldwin, who plays Trump.

– Thank you for coming to see my victory speech tonight, as everyone knows, I was reelected president of the United States, said Baldwin during his skit.

Saturday Night Live, consisting primarily of sketches parodying American culture and politics, is a live entertainment program. The show has aired on NBC since 1975 and has won around 80 awards, including 45 Emmy Awards.
