Missing British woman Sarah Everard (33) has been confirmed dead.
Report to British police on Friday afternoon, according to Sky News.
On Wednesday, the remains of a person were found in a forest area in Kent, England. Police have always suspected that the remains belong to Everard, but final confirmation arrived today.
Jailed police
The 33-year-old woman who lives in London disappeared on Wednesday of last week. She was last seen on her way home to the London Borough of Brixton after visiting a friend.
The case has received massive attention in the British press, in part because of the alleged perpetrator.
On Tuesday night this week, a policeman in his 40s was arrested, suspected of having kidnapped and murdered the 33-year-old man. Later, the policeman was taken into custody.

Arrested woman
The alleged police officer works for the London Police, who have confirmed that he was not at work when Everard disappeared.
Typically, he will work to protect diplomatic and parliamentary leaders.
– A woman in her 30s has also been arrested in connection with the disappearance, suspected of helping with the kidnapping. She is in custody, police told The Guardian.
Deputy Chief Nick Ephgrave was shocked after his arrest Tuesday night.
– Tonight’s arrest is a serious and significant event. We will continue to work full speed on this investigation, but the fact that the arrested man is serving in the London police is both shocking and highly outrageous, Ephgrave told Sky News.
