President Donald Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani has been confirmed infected with corona. The president himself writes on Twitter.
“The best mayor in New York history, who has worked hard to expose the most corrupt elections of all time, has tested positive for the China virus. Good recovery Rudy, we’ll keep working !!!” writes Trump.
It is not yet known when Giuliani tested positive. Nor if it is a serious case of covid-19.
Giuliani, 76, served as mayor of New York City for two terms from 1994 to 2001. In recent years, he has served as Trump’s personal attorney.
The lawyer is one of those who has stood by the president’s side in recent weeks and doubted it was electoral fraud when Joe Biden won the election. For the past month, he has led Trump’s legal attempt to change the election outcome after the November 3 presidential election. Trump believes that the election was marked by cheating and believes that he is the rightful winner of the election.
In relation to legal work, Giuliani has traveled to many states recently and participated in various events, many of them without wearing a face mask.
It has been just over two weeks since Giuliani’s son Andrew Giuliani, who is a White House adviser, was known to have tested positive.
