Several people RB has been in contact with speak of the large police forces in Åråsen. Assignment leader Andreas Paulsen in the Eastern Police District confirms this is a stabbing:
– We received a message at 07:32 about a person who was stabbed. It was a passerby who came across the person, Paulsen reports to rb.no.
The task leader says the man is awake and has spoken to the police at the scene. He is now being transferred to Oslo University Hospital Ullevål for further treatment. It should be a man in his 30s.
– I do not know the degree of injury, but it is positive that he is awake and talking, says Paulsen.
– What happened?
– We do not know yet. Presumably, the stabbing took place at a private address. The author is currently unknown. We are working on this now, says Paulsen.
According to the police, the man must have been stabbed in the armpit.
