Just before 02:00 on Monday evening, emergency services responded to a car accident in Eidsvoll.
In the Morskog tunnel, a car had crashed into the concrete wall heading north.
– The person in question had left and was going to disappear for us. We found the driver again after a short time, says Operations Manager Terje Marstad in the East Police District.
Police report on Twitter that they found the driver, who had gone down to Lake Mjøsa. On the way there, the person in question must have also used the approaching tunnel.
– Despite the fact that the driver seemed unharmed, the health personnel took care of him, says Marstad.
Early in the evening, police pulled over a motorist in the neighboring township of Ullensaker.
In the neighboring municipality of Ullensaker, the police stopped a driver in Gamle Algarheimsveg shortly before 0100 on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.
A man in his 20s had his driver’s license confiscated and was reported to be driving under the influence of drugs.
– He is also reported for possession of a small amount of hashish, says COO Marstad.
