NORWAY – ROMANIA 4–0

– We were humiliated, and that applies not only to us, but to you. The entire nation was humiliated. I’m ashamed. “I have to be careful what I say, but right now I think we have to limit the defeat in Wednesday’s game against Austria,” he was quoted as saying by the Gazeta Sporturilor newspaper.

– I don’t understand how a team that played 120 minutes on Thursday and changed only four men can be much fresher and stronger than our team that played 90 minutes and changed seven men.

He said that Romania looked like a youth team in the meeting with the Norwegians.

– I didn’t see any attitude, no reaction. It wasn’t just an ugly loss, it was a humiliation.

Romania led the group after the September matches, when, among other things, they lost to Austria. On Wednesday, the Austrians arrive in Ploiesti.

– Right now I think we have to play to limit the defeat. We must not re-experience what happened tonight. I may have other thoughts when I wake up tomorrow, but that’s exactly my attitude, Radoi said.
