Until Saturday night, someone had broken into the popular Drøbak Christmas house. Akershus Amstidende was the first to mention the case.
She was a bit surprised when she showed up at work this morning and saw that the door had been opened and the glass broken.
Inside, there was nothing better.
– Angels and Christmas balls have been knocked down and the money box has been emptied.
The cash register was empty and a few thousand crowns were missing inside. She believes that the robbery was carried out by someone who has knowledge of the house.
Before she leaves work, they always tend to darken the entire house, due to the fire hazard posed by all the Christmas lights on.
– Anyone who has been here must be able to get the light somehow. Because they have to carry it in order to open the box. The fuse box, on the other hand, is very well hidden, so I think there must be something to do with knowing where it is.

According to Eva, the robbery seems to be well planned, something she doesn’t like.
– They also went into the back room and took some money. It doesn’t seem like a sudden fad. They knew what they were looking for and they weren’t Christmas presents.

– The person in question broke several windows and caused damage to the store, in addition to stealing around 5,000 kronor in cash from the back of the register, says operations manager Kristian Loraas.
He says that the police have no suspects at this time, but that a similar robbery was also carried out at a restaurant located 50 meters from Julehuset, and that they believe the events are related to each other.
– The police have opened a case for both robberies, says Loraas.
